Self employed again.

 Late June and can you believe 2 posts in two months.

Redlands Brake Doctor is underway.  Not as busy as I feel it should be but I am the new kid against a long established business.

Flywheel Grinding is pretty much sorted, just some more tweaking and soon I hope the recessed flywheels we be achievable..   still not really sorted for these just yet.  it's tricky when the outside edge is higher than the plate surface.

 I am hopeful of doing some kind of website in July.  I am not great at that.  I have ads on Guntree and True-Local but they are more area specific than I like.

I have not got a 'Stalkbook' profile but this seems to be the likely easiest way to have people find me if they search.  I don;t have much to say..   well actually I probably would if I was there but I don't like the whole thing.  Long ago I did try to start a Stalk book page but I lasted about 45 minutes before deleting it.

 Oh after 12 1/2  years Mrs HBD and I have reassembled the climbing wall from under her house.   She designed and built it before I met her.  When we moved in together in our townhouse We had to pull it down and put it into storage.  Well it went from house to townhouse, to storage shed, to another storage shed, back to house then into shed and back into garage storage before now half of it is assembled in the shed under the mezzanine floor. There is more to be put together yet and maybe some new walls altogether.

This is mostly for a different form of exercise and some core strength work.  The kids are loving it so far and Mrs HBD is pleased it is done.  Now date nights don't need to be in front of the TV hahaha.  Pizza, beer and climbing..

Getting this up took a little under the week I guess, fortunate that I had done nearly all my first sessions of door knock promoting and handing out business cards.  Managed to get a run along in the building.

The house next door is now up for sale, I had often said that if it came up for sale I would buy it before even telling Mrs HBD.  Unfortunately that is no longer the case.  Land pricing here has gone absolutely stupid with houses selling in the mid 500k's with the buyers knocking the places down to split the blocks.  One example further up the street the 820m2 property sold at 549k, they cleared the block ( the house wasn't bad or run down in any way) split the block and are trying to sell the 410m2 blocks ar 439k each.  Looks like ONE has sold.  The other point being that technically, at present, I have no job or real income as self employed it is really next to impossible.  This is also kinda why we had to ditch the whole rebuild our house plans we and our good friend put so much time and effort into.  Well the job thing was the final straw but with the covid building boom house building and builders increased 100k in a few months.
